“Catching Elephants”
AN (Author’s Note): My sincere apologies for the long hiatus!
This semester in high school, I have Writer’s Craft. And it’s actually driving me to the very edges of my creativity. This is the second writing activity we’ve done so far, called a ‘jumble story’; we had to pick a character description, setting, time, and situation/challenge from a list (10 choices of each), and then, of course, write a story. I picked ‘a recent high school graduate’, ‘an expensive restaurant’, ‘after a proposal’, and ‘something embarassing has just happened’/’an important decision needs to be made’.

AN (Author’s Note): I wrote this story last night - technically this morning - in about half an hour. It’s pretty rough, but I like how it turned out. Enjoy, and please review!
